Located at the Perth Domestic Airport Maroomba Airlines has been connecting Perth with Regional WA and beyond since 1985.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for hardworking, motivated and reliable individuals to join a great team, of ground handlers, who are responsible for providing: timely, professional and safe ground operations to ensure on-time departures of all Maroomba Airlines flights.
Some of the duties include:
- Loading/ unloading of baggage and freight;
- Assisting with boarding, disembarking and escorting passengers around the apron;
- Aircraft start up, marshalling, towing and servicing of aircraft toilets;
- Assisting with internal aircraft cleaning and general maintenance of the grounds.
This part-time position offers 30 hours per week. You will be required to work on shifts Monday – Sunday and Public Holidays. Shifts include early starts and evening finishes.
The Right Person
- Will have a desire to deliver exceptional customer service;
- Be a team player who can multi-task and manage time effectively;
- Must be physically fit to perform regular lifting duties;
- Must have a current Drivers License;
- Must have (or be eligible to obtain) an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC);
- Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
