The Royal Aero Club of Western Australia has been training pilots since 1929 in an atmosphere that is welcoming and comfortable for our students and members. Being able to fly is a challenging and exciting pastime, or a rewarding career.
Your training is conducted by professional flying instructors to the highest standards of safety and proficiency. The Royal Aero Club environment is friendly and relaxed, where flying instructors and members are only too willing to share their knowledge with you.
Learning to fly is often considered expensive however, when examined objectively against other sports, hobbies or career qualifications, the cost of becoming a pilot to the motivated person is quite reasonable.
Even though we are one of the largest flight training organisations in Australia, we pride ourselves on the personal attention that we give our members. The size of the Royal Aero Club of WA group allows our members to have access to the very best facilities and a range of training options. We can assist you in attaining a Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, Licence Conversions and also a range of endorsements and ratings to provide you with a fully comprehensive service. Please note: GST will be added to a course cost if the student is not on an accredited GST free course. Options available include:
Western Australia Aviation College:
- Diploma of Aviation (Aeroplane): Integrate
- Diploma of Aviation (Aeroplane): Modular
- Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating)
Royal Aero Club of Western Australia:
- 150 hour CPL
- 200 hour CPL
- Instrument rating – single or multi engine
- Instructor rating
