Bruce Bailey, an old farmer and Club member from Wongan Hills has written a really good book on his flying experiences dating back to the 50’s. The book is an easy read full of stories and photos of all the interesting aircraft Bruce has owned and flown from Gliders to Vampires and a lot in between.
Who would propel a Ute with a Tiger engine and Prop? The same engine drove an Air Boat. Lots of stories of the Club’s early days before and after the start of Jandakot. Well worth a read and available for purchase from the Club’s Cashier.
