Peter had a passion for flying from a very young age and by the time he was 18 he was already licensed to fly. He became a flying instructor in the early ’80s and taught students to fly in both the United Kingdom and Australia.
He acquired his dream job in 1988 when he joined Qantas as a Second Officer on the “Queen of the Skies”, the Boeing 747 classic. Then later he moved to the Boeing 767 and B747-400.
Peter made the decision to leave Qantas in 2000 and joined Emirates Airlines on the Boeing 777. He was immediately promoted to Captain and during his time at Qantas and Emirates has flown to over 145 global destinations.
With more than 18,000 flying hours during his 30-year airline career, Peter has settled back in Perth and wants to share his wealth of experience with the general public to show them what it was like on the flight deck. He is also helping younger aspiring pilots to follow in his footsteps to reach their dreams of becoming an airline pilot.
